Snow Day!

We had a snow storm last night that dropped 4" of snow. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal, but we had 2 " of rain earlier that day so now we have icy roads. The picture above is from my back yard. I thought that it looked so pretty. We have lots of trees around my house, so the whole street just looks like a winter wonderland. Since we don't see snow very often its nice to be able to sit back and enjoy it. Today I am going to clean house and relax with my hubby.

My newest project!

Well I have finished my latest task an apron.
It really wasn't too difficult. I got a pattern and it has like 4 other styles that I may try and tackle at some point.
I haven't decided on my next project yet, so if you have any suggestions please leave me a comment or email me. Also if you would like for me to make you something let me know!

Valentine's Day

I hope everyone had a great Valentne's Day! Cory and I had a low key day together. We went to lunch and toured the Hendrick motorsports place. It was a nice afternoon just me and him and nothing to worry about.

Leave me a comment on how your Valentine's Day went. I would love to hear about your day.

My next craft project should be finished soon. Come back here often to see new projects.

Rag Quilt

As many of you know Cory and I are trying to have a baby, and we have been doing so now for 2 1/2 years. I never thought we would be still in the same place after all this time. So instead of me becoming obsessed with all the baby making details which only makes it harder I have taken up a hobby. Cory is taking classes at night that left me home alone four nights a week, so I had to fill me time with something. I decided to try my hand at sewing and see if I can actually have something turn out right.

The picture is of my first major project a rag quilt. It took a while to complete but was pretty simple to do. I really had a lot of fun working on it, and it turned much better than I excepted. You can except many more projects from me in the near future. Stay turned to see my next finished masterpiece :)
